The Merida eSpresso CC 400 SE EQ Electric Hybrid Bike combines city bike style with off-road capability to form the CC, a bike with step through comfort and a robust design which is at home on the dirt of the bike paths. The modern design puts you in the most comfortable position, as the sturdy step through triple butted aluminium frame allows easy and smooth pedalling in an upright position. The Shimano STePS E8010 Battery and E6100 drive unit are smoothly integrated with the frame in a lower position and this gives the bike an optimal centre of gravity with balanced riding characteristics for a crisp ride. The eSpresso is pedal assist e-bike which means that when you pedal the e-bike components will kick in and give you a boost of speed for an easy ride.

On top of that, the internally routed cables give this bike a clean look, minimising maintenance and any noisy rattling. This bike rolls on Merida Comp TK rims and 27.5x2.25" Maxxis Crossmark II Tyres which give you speed, yet still excel on loose surfaces. Features

eSpresso CC Frame: HFS-hydroforming Prolite 66 triple butted aluminium frame based around fast rolling yet durable 650B wheels and with commuting and leisure riding in mind. A higher front end and a compact geometry make for a more upright and extremely comfortable riding position. Battery positioned extra low for improved handling. Comes equipped with mudguards, rear rack, side stand, lock and lights.

Fully Loaded: The eSPRESSO CC come fully equipped with fenders, kickstand, carrier and lights. Ready for any outing you can think of.

Optimised Centre of Gravity: A centrally positioned low centre of gravity, which has been achieved through the positioning of the battery in the lower position of the downtube as well as the location of the Shimano motors, enables to deliver fantastic riding characteristics in any situation which are extremely important in particular in wave low step through frames which have the tendency to chatter and jitter when power is applied.

Internal Cable Routing: We feature internal cable routing on all models. Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. Only a clever system for our internal guiding and fixing guarantees reliable and rattle free routing, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt and gives the bike a cleaner look.

Low Step Through: The Shimano mid-mounted motor, in combination with the forged motor bracket provides one of the lowest step-through heights in the market.
